ELF Pre Haul - My Hopes & Dreams
Hey gals!!
If you're an elfette, you may know that E.L.F. just had a sale 50% off their new Spring Collection. I waited until that last few days - not sure what to buy - until ordering.
E.L.F. already has great prices on their cosmetics, but I only order from them when they have a good sale going on, for 2 reasons. 1, it will help limit how often I go on my shopping sprees. 2, I get double as many products as I would with the same amount of money sent.
Anyways, this haul isn't too big, but it's not limiting my excitement! :D
From the Essential Line, I ordered
1. Blush & Bronzer Set
Normally: $3.00
ELF's Description: Create a healthy, natural glow all year long with this limited edition Blush & Bronzer Set. The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of color, while the Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones for beautiful definition. Includes a Mini Kabuki Brush for flawless application.
My Thoughts: I thought this would be a nice little combination - not like I need any more blushes - but I don't really have a bronzer from elf that isn't in a set. I was't however too excited about this, because the colors looked muted, I don't know, I guess I'm just a sparkly gal! :)

2. 3-Piece Hypershine Gloss Set
Normally: $3.00

My Thoughts: I do like these colors a lot more, except the brownish maybe purple color (in the picture it's the one in the middle). I don't know, I just don't usually use those colors on my lips. But I am really excited to see how this turns out. I haven't used their Hypershine Gloss, but I have used their Super Glossy Lip Shine and their Luscious Liquid Lipstick. I loved them both.

3. 4-Piece Shimmer Gloss Set

My Thoughts: Yay more lippies!! Once again, I love the colors except the first brownish tan one. I'll try it, but it's not my color :( anyways, I will definitely use the other colors as long as they arrive looking like they do on the website. I haven't used this type of lip gloss, but e.l.f. is usually pretty good -in my experience- with their lip products.

My Thoughts: Again, excited to try elf's Mineral Line! I love the pink color, but I wish it was more... pink? It looks dull and muted... sadly... Anyways! Maybe I do need a little muting! ;) Also, you can never have enough brushes! And this one seems to come from ELF's Essential Line their basic C Brush I think.

My Description
This is an amazing lipstick, and considering the price ($1) it is absolutely amazing! It is super creamy and hydrating and I would have to also agree that it is long lasting, and when it does fade it fades out evenly. If that makes sense (: The only con is that color however does not exactly match the websites picture, but I actually would consider that a pro, because I like the actual color better than what it shows on the website. The actual color is darker and pinker than the website picture. I've had this product and used it for a while, so this isn't a first impression. This is my go to lipstick. Bottom line; I will definitely repurchase when I run out.
My picture however didn't turn out well, it is much darker in reality. Also, don't be alarmed by the shortness of my stick, as I've pointed out before I've been using this product for a while now.

Waiting for my E.L.F. Haul!!
Hey everyone! First of all, thank you SO much for reading this! And PLEASE leave comments! Positive or constructive critisism. :)
If you haven't noticed, this is my first ELF (eyeslipsface) blog. Actually, this is my first blog. Ever. I am so excited! :D
Now, to the point of this blog. I recently ordered from elf and I'm super excited for it to come!
In here, I'll post all I ordered, pictures from the site, and what I'm expecting. After I get the elf products in the mail, I'll post another blog, (with pictures) and my first impressions :)
So here we go!
First thing I ordered. Their e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette - Limited Edition in Brights #85041 Only $5
Expectation: I've read some good and some bad reviews about this so I'm not sure. I'm hoping for a great color selection, really. Do you have this? What do you think about it? Do you want this? Etc. please comment! :)
Next, e.l.f. Essential Little Black Beauty Book - Eye Edition in Cool #85037 Only $5
Expectation: Sort of the same situation with the endless eyes pro mini palette. I've read the good and the bad. One thing I'm know for sure that I'll like is the case that it comes in. I saw that it came in this little book thing. Also, it comes in 48 colors! How great is that?
e.l.f. Studio Blush in Giddy Gold #83140 Only $3
Expectation: I have 2 other Studio line blushes. I LOVE them. However, they are both pink. Ish. I realized, while looking through other color options, that I usually wear pink/peach blushes. I really want to try out new styles/looks/colors. So I got Giddy and went for a Gold! (LoL, see what I did there?) I'll keep you posted! :)
e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick in Flirty & Girly #22147 only $2
Expectation: Okay, I saw this a while ago and the picture on the site did NOT sell me. Luckily, someone on the site posted a review with swatches and the swatches were NOT what I was expecting! I'm hoping it'll look great :) high expectations I guess.
e.l.f. Essential Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in Little Miss Thing #21631only $2
Expectation: Similar to the Jumbo Lip Gloss on my first expectation. I then, also saw a review (on site) with swatches. I've tried some other brand similar to this and similar in color :) also semi-high expectations
e.l.f. Essential Tone Correcting Concealer in Ivory #4005 Only $1 !!
Expectation: I really want this to work! Hoping as an under eye concealer thing or blemish cover-up. I'm not sure.
e.l.f. Essential Brightening Eye Color in Luxe #2005 Only $1 !!!!!
Expectation: Let me just say this in only ONE DOLLAR!! I've had one of these before but not in this color. The quality is amazing. Not chalky or anything. I really wanted this color, because of the red :)
e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer in Sheer #7501 Only $1 (again)
Expectation: This is a re-buy! :) I'll give you my final review on it when I give the final reviews on all the others :)
